The Philippine National Railways has recently relaunched its Calamba to Lucena / Lucena to Calamba route. It’s expected to reduce the travel time between the provinces of Laguna and Quezon significantly. The maiden trip started on 6 October 2022.

Passenger Fare Matrix
The full fare from Calamba to Lucena and vice-versa is Php105 for regular passengers. Senior citizens, students, and PWD get a 20% discount and only pay Php84.
The minimum fare from Lucena to San Pablo is priced at PHP 15, while the minimum fare from Lucena to Calamba is priced at PHP 20.
Train Stops
The Calamba-Lucena line will offer nine flag makeshift stops along Pansol, Masili, Los Banos, College, IRRI, Tiaong (Lalig), Candelaria, Lutucan, and Sariaya. Meanwhile, the main stations will be located in Lucena, San Pablo, and Calamba.
Travel Time
The travel time between Lucena and Calamba is two hours and 33 minutes.
