The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) XI has just announced that it is opening new routes in the provinces of Davao del Norte, Davao Oriental, Davao del Sur, Davao Occidental, and Davao de Oro through a special permit under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ).
The operation of the new routes is still subject to the terms and conditions set by the Regional Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) and LTFRB XI.

Bus Operators with Special Permit
These new routes will be operational as soon as LTFRB XI has selected the bus operator/s that will be given the special permit. The special permit for these new routes will be effective May 22-31, 2020 unless further extended, modified, or withdrawn.
Start of Bus Operation
Bus operations between Davao del Norte and Davao de Oro will resume on May 26, 2020 while trips to Davao Oriental will be announced soon.
New Fare Matrix
The approved temporary fare while under GCQ is Php11 for the first 5 kilometers of non-aircondioned buses and P1.85 for the succeeding kilometer. For airconditioned buses, the new fare is Php13 for the first 5 kilometers and Php2.20 for the succeeding kilometer.
