Good news! The San Ricardo to Lipata and Lipata to San Ricardo (Benit) route is finally back! It is now being served by Lite Ferry 20. The travel time is a little longer and the fare has also increased. This schedule is last updated on 16 June 2023.
San Ricardo or Benit Port is a major transportation hub for cargo and passengers in the region, connecting the Visayas with Mindanao through the port of Lipata in Surigao City.
This route is used to be operated by Montenegro Shipping Lines but it has not returned since Typhoon Odette. Montenegro is currently serving the Lipata-Liloan route.
