How to Travel to Boracay

Boracay is one of the top tourist destinations in the Philippines popular for both local and international travelers. Since the pandemic began, Boracay has become a less busy island. It has closed for few months but it has since open since the last quarter of 2020. As of now, it is only open for local tourists from places under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) or Modified GCQ.

There are many ways to get to Boracay by air, land, and sea from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. There are direct flights to Caticlan, the jump-off point to Boracay Island. It’s the most convenient way to go to Boracay especially for tourists from Metro Manila.
